Cathy
Salon Manager & Pet Stylist
Cat began her pet care journey as a bather at PetSmart in 2019 before making her grooming debut at Desired Styles in 2022. Since then, she’s become known for her gentle approach, attention to detail, and love for helping pets look and feel their best.
Her favorite breeds to groom are Siberian Huskies and German Shepherds, and she especially enjoys transforming heavy shedders with a thorough de-shed treatment finished with a clean outline trim. She also has a soft spot for puppies and loves being part of their very first grooming experience.
Outside of the salon, Cat is a proud mom to two cats, one dog, and a beautiful daughter. She’s also a bit adventurous—she even went shark cage diving in Hawaii in 2021!

Jenni
Senior Pet Stylist
Jenni has been grooming since 2007, starting her career with a mobile grooming company. With just three days of formal training, everything she’s learned since has come through years of hands-on experience, dedication, and a genuine passion for grooming.
Her favorite pups to groom are Yorkies, and she especially loves hand-scissoring, creating fluffy lamb cuts, and giving every pet an adorable, customized look. Her goal is simple: make every dog leave looking their absolute cutest!
Outside of the salon, Jenni loves traveling, camping, exploring new places, and sharing a good laugh with family and friends. One thing pet parents can always count on is that when your pet is in Jenni’s care, she treats them like one of her own.
Miriam
Senior Pet Stylist
Miriam has been grooming since 2013, when she started her career at PetSmart. Before becoming a groomer, she spent a year and a half as a dog trainer, giving her a strong understanding of canine behavior and how to help pets feel comfortable during the grooming process.
Her favorite breed to groom is Pomeranians, although she’s become known for her amazing work on Doodles—they always seem to find their way onto her schedule! She loves creating fluffy lamb cuts and stylish boots, and she’s excited to continue expanding her skills in Asian fusion grooming.
When she’s not grooming, if it involves animals, she’s all in! Miriam is also known for giving her furry clients funny nicknames and making up little songs just for them.
She’s excited to be part of the Desired Styles family, build lasting relationships with pets and their owners, and make every pup look and feel their absolute best.
Rhonda
Senior Pet Stylist
Rhonda has been part of the Desired Styles family since the salon first opened in June 2019. Before following her passion for animals, she worked as a school bus driver for the local school district. She started her journey with us as a bather and became a Pet Stylist in 2022.

Rhonda has loved animals her entire life and truly enjoys working with all breeds—whether they’re a little mischievous or perfectly behaved! While she has a special place in her heart for large breeds, she’ll jokingly admit her body doesn’t always agree these days.

When she’s not at the salon, you’ll find her stargazing, listening to the sound of rain, spending time by the river, or relaxing at home with all of her beloved animals.
Rhonda’s calm, patient nature and genuine love for pets help every furry friend feel safe, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they arrive.
Jennifer
Pet Stylist
Jennifer began her grooming journey in 2019, practicing on her own pets and those of family and friends before earning her grooming certification through West Coast Grooming Academy in 2022. She joined the Desired Styles team later that year and has been helping pets look and feel their best ever since.
Her favorite breeds to groom are Shih Tzus, Pekingese, and scruffy terrier mixes, and she also loves giving heavy-shedding coats a fresh start with a thorough de-shed treatment. Jennifer especially enjoys creating adorable rounded Shih Tzu faces, perfectly rounded booties on Aussies and Pomeranians, and giving matted pets a fresh shave-down—always with compassion and zero judgment. She’s passionate about helping pet parents find grooming styles that fit both their pet’s needs and their lifestyle.
Outside of the salon, Jennifer is a proud mom to a busy toddler and loves trying new restaurants with her husband whenever they get the chance.

Genevieve
Pet Stylist
Gen has been grooming since 2018, when she started her career at PetSmart. She loves helping pets look and feel their best, especially those who need a fresh start after dealing with matted coats.
Her favorite breeds to groom are Pomeranians, and she has a special love for Golden Retrievers. She enjoys giving matted dogs a fresh, comfortable shave-down and seeing the relief they feel afterward. One of her signature finishing touches is creating the perfect round, fluffy face.
Originally from Alaska, Gen was born and raised in the Last Frontier and is also an accomplished concert violinist—a fun fact that surprises many of her clients! Whether your pet is in for a complete makeover or just a routine groom, Gen is dedicated to making them look adorable while ensuring they have a positive, comfortable experience.
Shannon
Pet Stylist
Shannon has been grooming since 2017 and loves bringing out each pet’s personality with stylish, customized haircuts. Her favorite breeds to groom are Maltese and Pomeranians, and she’s especially known for creating adorable lamb cuts and beautiful Asian fusion-inspired styles.
When she’s not in the salon, you’ll probably find Shannon at a live concert, exploring an art gallery, traveling somewhere new, or relaxing with a good video game. She loves combining creativity with grooming and enjoys helping every pet look and feel their very best!
Melissa
Pet Stylist & Creative Color Specialist
Melissa began her journey at Desired Styles as a bather in 2022 before becoming a groomer in 2024. She loves continuing to grow her skills and enjoys taking on everything from routine grooms to creative transformations.
Her favorite breeds to groom are Yorkies and Pomeranians. She’s especially known for adorable lamb cuts, puppy trims, perfectly styled Yorkie faces and tipped ears, beautifully hand-scissored Pomeranians, and adding a splash of fun with creative color.
Melissa loves a good challenge and is known for her patience with pets of all personalities. Whether it’s a full haircut or a relaxing bath and brush, she takes pride in making every pet feel comfortable while helping them look their absolute best.
Harmony
Pet Stylist
Harmony began her journey in pet grooming in 2024, starting as a bather before attending grooming academy later that year and becoming a certified groomer in November 2024. She got her start with Petco and has been passionate about growing her skills ever since.
She loves grooming Poodles, Doodles, Maltipoos, Shih Tzus, and mixed-breed pups, and enjoys creating fluffy lamb cuts, adorable teddy bear trims, and even adding a pop of creative color. Harmony is always excited to learn new techniques and continue growing as a groomer.
Outside of the salon, Harmony is a proud cat mom to three cats and has a slight obsession with bows—the cuter, the better!
Although she’s newer to the grooming industry, Harmony brings patience, compassion, and genuine care to every appointment. Her goal is to make each pet feel safe, comfortable, and leave looking their very best.
Odalys
Certified Feline & Pet Stylist
Odalys began her grooming journey as a bather at PetSmart in December 2022 before attending grooming academy and becoming a groomer in December 2023. She loves working with pets of all shapes and sizes and enjoys making every appointment a fun, positive experience.
While Golden Retrievers are one of her favorite breeds to groom, Odalys genuinely loves seeing every breed that walks through the door. She does admit she’s a little biased toward French Bulldogs and Pugs since she’s a proud Frenchie and Pug mom herself!
Her favorite styles are clean outline trims and creative haircuts like mohawks, mullets, and other unique custom looks. If you have a fun idea for your pet’s style, she’s always excited to bring it to life.
Odalys is also Desired Styles’ Certified Feline Stylist, specializing in gentle, stress-conscious cat grooming to help your feline friend look and feel their best.
One fun fact? In 2019, she went skydiving—and it was also her very first time on an airplane! Talk about jumping right in! 🪂
Blossom
Meet Blossom, our adorable little shop dog and the unofficial greeter of Desired Styles! This fluffy Pomeranian belongs to our stylist, Melissa, and you’ll often find her welcoming clients with a wagging tail and a happy smile.
Blossom is famous around the salon for her one-of-a-kind look—Melissa loves getting creative and often transforms her into an adorable pink panda bear with safe, pet-friendly creative color! She’s proof that grooming can be both fun and artistic.
When she’s not making new friends, Blossom is supervising the team, soaking up attention, and reminding everyone that every salon needs a little mascot. Be sure to say hi if you see her during your next visit!
